Table Groups

We were never meant to follow Jesus alone.

From the beginning, the Church gathered in large gatherings and from house to house. They shared meals, prayed together, learned together, cared for one another, and became family. Table Groups are smaller communities rooted in the places we live, designed to help a big church feel small and make everyday life with Jesus something we experience together.

How do Table Groups Work?

Table Groups function as one shared grouping while making room for a wide variety of different kinds of groups. These often reflect the people, stages of life, and cities that make up our church. The format is intentionally flexible, embracing our desire for organic friendships to form. Some may gather in homes around a meal. Others may meet in coffee shops, go hiking, surf together or form around another shared activity. Some may meet in the morning while others in the evenings. The goal is not for every group to look the same.

The goal is to create healthy communities where people can belong, grow, and follow Jesus together.Whenever possible, we want groups to grow close to home and build on real relationships so community can become part of everyday life. a life stage.

Group Structure

  • Open to All
  • Age-and-stage
  • Gender-based
  • Traditional community groups
  • Interest-based groups
  • Any time of day/week
  • Meet weekly or bi-weekly 

Group Rhythms

• Fall Session (Sept-Dec)- 10-12 Weeks
• Spring Session (Feb-April)- 10-12 Weeks
• Summer Break
• 2 Primary “Sign-up Seasons
  
  • Sept + January
• City Block Parties (Once a session)

Open Scripture, talk about life, and become more like Jesus together.

Pray, worship, listen to the Holy Spirit, and minister to one another.

You don’t have to be a Bible scholar or have all the answers to host a Table Group. We’re looking for people who love Jesus, love people, and are willing to create space for others to belong and grow. We’ll provide training, resources, content, and ongoing support to help you lead well.
