At Tablechurch Malibu, we believe every person is on a journey with Jesus, and no one arrives fully formed. These courses exist to meet people where they are and give them a clear next step—whether they're exploring faith for the first time, building a foundation, or pursuing deeper freedom and maturity. We want growth to be accessible at every stage, not just for those who've been Christians for years.
Alpha (101)
Alpha explores life's biggest questions—purpose, faith, and who Jesus is—in a relaxed, no-pressure group setting. Over 8 weeks plus a Saturday focused on the Holy Spirit, participants cover the cross, prayer, Scripture, guidance, and healing. It's designed as a first step into faith, open to skeptics and seekers alike.
When: October 7th, Wednesdays
Location: Surf Canyon
Rooted (201)
Rooted moves participants from foundational belief into formation, covering identity in Christ, spiritual gifts, relational health, and suffering. Across 6 sessions, it builds practical rhythms of prayer, scripture, fasting, and service. The course culminates in a deeper understanding of the Church as family and community.
When: September 27-November 1, Sundays 4-6pm
Deeper (301)
Deeper is a six-session weekend course beginning this November, designed to help you grow in spiritual authority and freedom. Through the “4R” prayer model—repent, renounce, replace, and receive—you’ll address strongholds such as fear, insignificance, and past pain. The course equips you to recognize both the spiritual and natural realms and walk confidently in your authority in Christ. It concludes with a practical ministry session, testimonies, and fellowship celebrating the freedom found in Jesus.
When: November 13 & 14, Friday night and Saturday.
